Mr. Sayed Ahmed has more than 20 years of professional experience. He is a Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. Mr. Sayed Ahmed has previously worked in various prestigious positions, notably in United Nations Volunteers lawyer UNHCR Sudan. (2003); Worked as a Research Officer for Legal Education and Training Institute of Bangladesh Bar Council, Dhaka.; Worked as a Teaching Assistant for Bar Vocational Course (BVC) of Bangladesh Bar Council. Worked as a Coordinator in Charge for Human Rights Training Programme for Young Lawyers & Worked as an Assistant Coordinator for Refugee law Training Programme.


Mr. Sayed Ahmed mainly practices Constitutional law, Commercial Law, and Criminal Defence. The criminal defence practice relates primarily to white-collar crime at the appellate stages. Mr. Sayed Ahmed has been involved in various high-profile criminal defence cases in Bangladesh. Mr. Sayed Ahmed is also involved in a number of important and milestone Constitutional Law cases. He is a champion of presenting new ideas and visions in the Constitution practice. The commercial litigation practice broadly involves complex commercial transactions (domestic & international). The Commercial Law practice also involves pre-litigation transactional advice and commercial arbitration. Mr. Sayed Ahmed has several publications. Mr. Sayed Ahmed has been recently elected as a Member of the Bangladesh Bar Council securing the highest votes amongst all the members.
